Looking after your mynt lab bedding

A few simple habits keep your bedding soft and looking good for longer. Start with the basics, then find your Collection below.

Both Collections

Four simple habits

Gentle wash

Machine wash on a gentle cycle, cold or at 30°C, with a mild detergent and similar colours.

No softener or bleach

Leave out fabric softener and bleach. Your Collection’s section below says why.

Line dry or low heat

Line dry, or tumble dry on low. Don’t dry clean.

Fresher for longer

Both Collections are 99.7% antibacterial, so your bedding stays fresher for longer. Every week or two is plenty.

Pillowcases in a wash bag. Pop your pillowcases in a wash bag so their zips don’t snag your sheets in the wash.

Always follow the care label on each piece.

Cooling Collection

Caring for MyntFusion™

Before your first night

  • Washing your items before you first sleep on them is up to you. We don’t use harmful chemicals to make our bedding, so your items are safe to use straight out of the packaging.
  • Your MyntFusion™ items are pressed before they’re packed, so they can have an extra sheen at first. If they feel a bit too silky for you, a gentle wash helps the fabric loosen up.
  • If you wash them first, use a cold or 30°C gentle cycle, the same as every other wash.

Washing

  • Machine wash cold or at 30°C on a gentle cycle.
  • Use a mild detergent and wash with similar colours.
  • Pop pillowcases in a wash bag so their zips don’t snag your sheets.
  • Leave out fabric softener. It can dull the cool, silky feel.
  • No bleach.

Drying

  • Line dry, in the shade where possible.
  • Or tumble dry on low.

Ironing and dry cleaning

  • Ironing isn’t needed. If you’d like to, use a low setting.
  • Don’t dry clean.

Making your bed

  1. Fitted sheet first. The short and long tags show which way it goes, and the deep pockets hold it around the mattress corners.
  2. Flat sheet, silky side down. Put the matte side up and the silky side towards you, so the cool feel is against your skin.
  3. Duvet cover on top. It sits on the matte side of the flat sheet, so it stays in place through the night.

How often

  • Every week or two is plenty.
  • Both Collections are 99.7% antibacterial, so your bedding stays fresher for longer.
